Personal Biography
Dr. Dongqing Zuo is an Associate Chief Physician and Medical Doctor (M.D.) within the Department of Orthopedic Oncology at Shanghai General Hospital. He served as a visiting scholar at the Mayo Clinic, sponsored by the China Scholarship Council, and is a certified mentor for bone tumor ablation training by the National Health Commission (NHC).
Dr. Zuo specializes in the comprehensive surgical and medical treatment of difficult and complex bone and soft tissue tumors, with a particular focus on minimally invasive diagnosis and treatment. He has developed three new minimally invasive techniques and holds five related patents. He has led several major research projects, including the National Natural Science Foundation Youth Fund, the Shanghai Municipal Health Commission Clinical Research Project, and the Shanghai Shenkang Hospital Development Center Clinical Research Project. He has also served as the Principal Investigator (PI) for four clinical studies and as a Key Sub-Investigator for numerous other bone tumor clinical trials. Dr. Zuo has published over 10 SCI papers, including two with an impact factor greater than 10.
