Breast Surgery Department (乳腺外科): A significant research area, focusing on the diagnosis, treatment, and research of breast cancer, including extensive work on Triple-Negative Breast Cancer (TNBC) through the world's largest single-center multiomic cohort. FUSCC has established the first large-scale mutation landscape of Chinese breast cancer patients and leads in precision therapy research. They have also made advances in immunotherapy for luminal-type breast cancer.

Thoracic Surgery Department (胸外科): Recognized as a top-priority clinical key discipline in Shanghai, specializing in lung cancer and esophageal cancer. This department has pioneered "minimally invasive thoracic surgery 3.0" and "surgical strategies for pre- and minimally invasive lung adenocarcinoma 3.0," influencing international guidelines.

Pancreatic Surgery Department (胰腺外科): A national key clinical specialty dedicated to the diagnosis and treatment of pancreatic cancer and neuroendocrine tumors. The department has developed its own staging system and innovative serum tumor marker systems, leading to significant improvements in patient outcomes.

Urology Department: The urology team, featuring specialists like Dr. Yao Zhu, is at the forefront of prostate cancer research, focusing on tailored treatments for the Chinese population. Their work includes neoadjuvant therapy, intensified treatment for advanced cases, and new drug research, with Dr. Zhu performing over 400 prostate cancer surgeries annually. Chinese-developed prostate cancer drugs have shown promising results in multi-center research.

Head and Neck Surgery Department (头颈外科): Provides in-depth research and professional technologies for tumors such as thyroid and laryngeal cancers.

Gastric Surgery Department (胃外科): Specializes in standardized surgery and comprehensive treatment for gastric cancer patients.

Liver Surgery Department (肝脏外科): Recognized for achievements in surgical, interventional, and comprehensive treatments for liver cancer.

Colorectal Surgery Department (大肠外科): Offers comprehensive treatment, including surgical operations, chemotherapy, and targeted therapy, for colorectal cancer.

Gynecologic Oncology Department (肿瘤妇科): Provides professional comprehensive treatment plans for gynecological tumors, including cervical cancer, ovarian cancer, and endometrial cancer.

Radiation Oncology Center (放射治疗中心): A dominant feature of the hospital, equipped with advanced radiotherapy equipment, capable of precise radiotherapy and proton-heavy ion therapy. The Shanghai Proton and Heavy Ion Hospital, affiliated with FUSCC, treated over 1,090 patients in 2023 alone.

Integrated Traditional Chinese and Western Medicine (中西医结合科): A national key clinical specialty that combines traditional Chinese and Western medicine approaches to reduce side effects of conventional treatments and enhance patient immunity.

Pathology Department (病理科): A national key discipline under the Ministry of Education, offering leading expertise in tumor pathological diagnosis and molecular pathological detection, which is crucial for precise diagnosis and treatment.

Precision Oncology Center and Cell and Gene Therapy Center: These centers have been successfully established within FUSCC, underscoring its advanced capabilities in modern cancer care.
