Refund Policy

Introduction
At MedBridge NZ Ltd, we understand that international medical travel requires flexibility. We strive to offer clear, fair, and transparent refund practices for all our clients worldwide seeking coordinated medical care across major Chinese cities, including Shanghai, Beijing, and Guangzhou.
1. Consultation Services
Initial consultations (virtual or in-person) are non-refundable once completed. However, if you cancel at least 24 hours in advance of your scheduled appointment, you may reschedule at no additional cost.
2. Coordination & Administration Fees
Fees paid for care coordination, hospital appointment booking, translation document review, and other administrative services are partially refundable based on how much work has been completed:

We will provide a summary of completed work and a refund estimate upon your cancellation request.
3. Travel & Accommodation Bookings
If we have arranged flights, accommodation, or local transport on your behalf, refunds are subject to the cancellation and refund policies of third-party providers (airlines, hotels, transport operators).
We will assist you in requesting refunds from these providers, but MedBridge NZ Ltd is not responsible for non-refundable costs or cancellation penalties imposed by third parties.
4. Visa and Documentation Services
Payments for visa application assistance and notarized documentation are non-refundable once submitted to embassies or consulates, as we cannot reverse administrative processes.
5. Accompaniment and On-Site Support
If you have booked an in-person bilingual support/accompaniment service in China, cancellations must be made at least 72 hours in advance to qualify for a 50% refund. Cancellations made less than 72 hours before service are non-refundable due to scheduling and resource commitments.
6. Medical Services
MedBridge NZ Ltd does not provide direct medical care. Any payments made to hospitals, clinics, or physicians are governed by the hospital’s own refund policies. We will help facilitate communication but do not issue refunds on behalf of medical institutions.

Refunds will be processed within 7–14 business days after evaluation.
8. Currency and Processing Fees
Refunds will be issued in New Zealand Dollars (NZD). Please note that some international transactions may incur bank processing fees or currency conversion charges, which are non-refundable.
