Is Dr. Shan the right specialist for my gynecologic cancer case?

Dr. Shan’s clinical focus includes cervical, endometrial and ovarian cancers, with particular experience in fertility-sparing treatment for early-stage endometrial cancer, complex ovarian cancer surgery, sentinel lymph node biopsy and minimally invasive gynecologic procedures. For patients outside China, MedBridgeNZ can coordinate a remote specialist-review pathway and organize the medical records and questions submitted for review. Dr. Shan will review the submitted materials, provide her clinical opinion and recommendations, and address the patient’s questions before an in-person pathway is considered.

How can an international patient request an appointment with Dr. Shan?

International patients can ask MedBridgeNZ to coordinate an appointment request with Fudan University Shanghai Cancer Center. Our team assists with medical-record preparation, translation coordination, client-authorized document transfer and communication with the hospital regarding scheduling. If travel to Shanghai is planned, we can also assist with medical invitation or visa-document coordination, accommodation planning and non-clinical bilingual administrative support during hospital visits. Appointment timing remains subject to the hospital and specialist’s scheduling arrangements.

Can Dr. Shan review my case before I travel to China?

Yes. MedBridgeNZ can coordinate a remote specialist review with Dr. Shan before international travel. After your medical records and key questions are organized, translated where necessary and transferred with your authorization, Dr. Shan will review the submitted information and provide her clinical opinion, recommendations and responses to your questions. This gives patients an opportunity to better understand the specialist’s perspective and prepare for the next step before making detailed travel arrangements for Shanghai.
