• English and Multilingual Support: Parkway has an international clinical team with doctors who consult in English and other languages. Request your preferred consultation language when booking; interpreter arrangements and any fees should be checked separately.

• Specialist Coordination: Parkway’s international patient services team accepts enquiries and medical reports before arrival and coordinates with relevant specialists.

• Insurance Direct Billing: Parkway publishes direct billing arrangements with more than 60 domestic and international insurance providers. Eligibility depends on your insurer, policy, receiving facility and planned service. Confirm coverage, pre-authorisation requirements and any guarantee of payment before your appointment. Routine health screening benefits should be checked separately.

Documents to Prepare

• Your original passport and appointment confirmation.

• Relevant medical records, examination reports and imaging.

• A current medication list and details of known allergies.

• Your insurance card and policy details if you intend to use insurance.

 

Ask whether translated records or additional registration documents are needed. For health screening or endoscopy, obtain the centre’s preparation instructions in advance, including individual guidance about fasting and regular medication.

Fees & Payment

• Request a cost estimate for your planned consultation, tests or procedure. For surgery or hospital admission, ask what is included and whether anaesthesia, pathology, medication, room charges and follow-up are billed separately.

• Parkway’s international patient information lists RMB cash, major international credit cards, Alipay and WeChat Pay among its payment options. Confirm accepted methods and any deposit requirements with the receiving facility.
