Dr. Lixin Qiu is a distinguished Associate Chief Physician and Associate Professor in the Department of Medical Oncology at Fudan University Shanghai Cancer Center. He obtained his Ph.D. from Fudan University Shanghai Medical College in 2002. With over two decades of clinical experience, Dr. Qiu is highly regarded for his expertise in the comprehensive treatment of gastrointestinal malignancies.
He is dedicated to incorporating the latest international advancements into clinical practice. Notably, he was the first professional in China to apply PD-1 antibody immunotherapy for the treatment of advanced gastric cancer, pioneering new therapeutic avenues for patients. Dr. Qiu has further honed his expertise through visiting scholar programs at prestigious institutions worldwide, including the MD Anderson Cancer Center (USA), Johns Hopkins Hospital (USA), Samsung Medical Center (South Korea), and the National Cancer Centre Singapore.
