Areas of Expertise

  • Transcatheter Aortic Valve Replacement (TAVR): Minimally invasive valve replacement delivered through the femoral artery to restore valve function and improve quality of life for patients with severe aortic stenosis who are not surgical candidates.

  • Minimally Invasive Mitral Valve Repair: Robot-assisted mitral valve repair with the Da Vinci system, achieving nearly 100% success rate. Patients typically do not require long-term medication after surgery, with significant improvement in quality of life and life expectancy.

  • Tricuspid Valve Repair: Minimally invasive tricuspid valve repair or replacement for patients with moderate to severe tricuspid stenosis or regurgitation, significantly enhancing postoperative quality of life.

  • Minimally Invasive Coronary Artery Bypass Surgery: Beating-heart coronary artery bypass without cardiopulmonary bypass, providing effective surgical treatment for coronary artery disease and myocardial infarction, and ensuring safety for patients with severe coronary conditions.

  • Minimally Invasive Atrial Fibrillation Surgery: Surgical ablation on a beating heart without cardiopulmonary bypass, offering higher success rates and faster recovery compared to catheter ablation.

  • Minimally Invasive Congenital Heart Disease Correction: Repair of common congenital anomalies such as atrial septal defect, enabling patients to achieve postoperative quality of life and life expectancy comparable to healthy individuals.

  • Minimally Invasive Aortic and Endovascular Surgery: Non-open-chest treatment of conditions such as aortic dissection and penetrating aortic ulcer using endovascular stents.
