Dr. Wu Liang serves as the Administrative Deputy Director of the Department of Thoracic Surgery at Shanghai General Hospital. He is an Associate Chief Physician, Associate Professor, and Doctoral Supervisor. He received his PhD in Clinical Surgery from Fudan University. With an impressive annual surgical volume of nearly 1,000 cases, Dr. Wu is highly experienced in his field. He has pioneered innovative techniques, such as a novel chest wall suturing method for single-port thoracoscopic sleeve lobectomy and lymph node dissection, and developed new methods for intraoperative localization of small pulmonary nodules, avoiding the risks and discomfort of preoperative CT-guided positioning.
