Personal Biography
Dr. Junhao Jiang, male, born in 1970, is an Associate Chief Physician, Associate Professor, MD, and master's supervisor in the Department of Vascular Surgery at Zhongshan Hospital, Fudan University. He graduated from the former Shanghai Medical University (now Fudan University) with a degree in clinical medicine in 1993 and joined the Department of Vascular Surgery at Zhongshan Hospital in the same year. He pursued graduate studies at Shanghai Medical University in 1997 and obtained his Doctor of Clinical Medicine degree in 2002 under the supervision of Professor Wang Yuqi.
He was promoted to Associate Chief Physician in 2004 and was selected for the "Shanghai Municipal Excellent Young and Middle-aged Physicians Training Program." In 2006, he undertook advanced training in endovascular treatment of vascular diseases at Lake Macquarie Hospital and Ashford Hospital in Australia, studying under renowned vascular experts Professor Alan Bray and Professor John Anderson. After returning, he focused on developing endovascular treatment for lower extremity arteriosclerosis obliterans with satisfactory results.
He has been an invited speaker at numerous international conferences, including the 2004 Shanghai-Tokyo Vascular Surgery Conference, the 2005 Australian Vascular Surgery Annual Meeting, the 8th Asian Vascular Surgery Conference (2007), the 2008 Cleveland Vascular Surgery Conference, the 2009 Auckland Vascular Surgery Symposium, and the 33rd Charing Cross Vascular Surgery Annual Meeting in London (2010). He has mastered the diagnosis and treatment of common vascular diseases and can independently perform conventional surgeries for conditions such as lower extremity arteriosclerosis obliterans, carotid artery stenosis, renal artery stenosis, abdominal aortic aneurysm, and aortic dissection. He also serves as the Foreign Affairs Secretary of Zhongshan Hospital, managing international academic exchanges.
