Dr. Jianmin Xu serves as the Director of the Colorectal Cancer Center and Director of the Department of Colorectal Surgery at Zhongshan Hospital, Fudan University. He is a Professor, Chief Physician, and Doctoral Supervisor. He graduated from Shanghai Medical University in 1990 and received his Ph.D. in 1999. He has extensive international experience, serving as a visiting scholar at Harvard University's Massachusetts General Hospital and the University of Massachusetts Medical Center in the US (2001), as well as at Ambroise Paré Hospital of the University of Paris in France (2004). He is recognized as a Shanghai Leading Talent and Outstanding Academic Leader.
