Dr. Wang Yongfei is a Chief Physician in the Department of Neurosurgery at Huashan Hospital, affiliated with Fudan University in Shanghai. He has long been engaged in the surgical treatment of various craniocerebral tumors, with a primary focus on sellar region tumors. He has accumulated extensive clinical experience in the surgical treatment of pituitary tumors, craniopharyngiomas, and skull base chordomas via transsphenoidal surgery.
In 2001, he went to the Department of Neurosurgery at Mainz University in Germany to study keyhole technology and neuroendoscopy technology with Professor Perneczky, a world-renowned expert in microneurosurgery and the advocate of keyhole technology. After returning to China, he actively carried out keyhole surgery and various neuroendoscopic surgeries such as third ventriculostomy, fenestration of intraventricular cysts, and resection of skull base chordomas, and his expertise is at the leading level in China.
