Dr. Xiaohai Wang is an Associate Chief Physician and a key member of the Clinical Urology Center at Shanghai General Hospital. He holds a Ph.D. from Shanghai Jiao Tong University School of Medicine. Dr. Wang studied under the renowned Professor Xia Shujie, known as the "Father of Thulium Laser" in China. He further pursued advanced studies as a visiting scholar at the University of Rochester Medical Center and Northwestern University in the United States.
Dr. Wang specializes in the standardized diagnosis and minimally invasive treatment of urological tumors, particularly prostate cancer and benign prostatic hyperplasia (BPH). He is a core member of the Da Vinci Robotic Surgery team at Shanghai General Hospital. With extensive clinical experience, he is highly skilled in using advanced technologies such as MRI-Ultrasound fusion targeted biopsy for precise prostate cancer detection and Thulium laser surgery for BPH.
