Personal Biography
Dr. Zhang earned his medical doctorate in France and holds the title of FHRS (Fellow of the Heart Rhythm Society). With over 20 years of dedicated experience in cardiac electrophysiology, he specializes in complex catheter ablation for arrhythmias (performing over 800 procedures annually), leadless pacemaker implantation, and His-bundle pacing techniques. To date, he has completed more than 8,000 interventional procedures.
As Deputy Head of the Youth Committee of the Chinese Society of Pacing and Electrophysiology, he has contributed to the formulation of national guidelines on cardiac pacing therapy and has led research projects funded by the National Natural Science Foundation of China. He also serves as Associate Editor of the monograph Electrophysiological Strategies for Arrhythmia Analysis.
