Personal Biography
Dr. Jie Chen is a distinguished Chief Physician and Professor at Fudan University Shanghai Cancer Center (FUSCC). She currently serves as the Director of the Neuroendocrine Tumor Center and the Department of Neuroendocrine Oncology. Recognized as a pioneer in her field, Dr. Chen is the Chief Expert of the Neuroendocrine Tumor Multidisciplinary Team (MDT) at the hospital.
She completed her Ph.D. in 2002 and subsequently pursued postdoctoral research at the Medical Faculty of the University of Magdeburg in Germany under the mentorship of Professor Peter Malfertheiner. With a background in digestive internal medicine and oncology, Dr. Chen has dedicated her career to the standardization of diagnosis and treatment for neuroendocrine neoplasms (NENs) in China. She has led numerous clinical trials and established comprehensive training programs for young physicians in this specialized field.
