Personal Biography
Dr. Jia Xu is a Chief Physician, M.D., and Master Supervisor in the Department of Gastroenterological Surgery at Renji Hospital, affiliated with Shanghai Jiao Tong University School of Medicine. He graduated from the Department of Clinical Medicine at Shanghai Second Medical University in 2001 and earned his M.D. from Shanghai Jiao Tong University in 2013. From February 2014 to February 2015, he was a visiting scholar at Seoul National University Hospital in Korea, where he studied standardized treatment and minimally invasive surgery for gastric cancer under Professor Han-Kwang Yang, the president of the Korean Gastric Cancer Association.
Dr. Xu has extensive clinical and research experience in gastrointestinal surgery, specializing in the diagnosis and comprehensive treatment of gastrointestinal tumors, particularly minimally invasive surgery for gastric and colorectal cancers.
