Dr. Haiyan Wang is a Chief Physician, PhD, and post-doctoral fellow in Ophthalmology, currently serving as the Deputy Administrative Director of the Glaucoma Sub-specialty at Shanghai First People's Hospital. She is also a Master's supervisor at Shanghai Jiao Tong University School of Medicine. Dr. Wang was a visiting scholar at the prestigious Bascom Palmer Eye Institute in the United States.

 

Her main research focuses on metabolic remodeling in diabetic retinopathy and clinical studies on anti-VEGF treatment for age-related macular degeneration, diabetic macular edema, and neovascular glaucoma. She was nominated for the "Jiulong Medical Award" by Shanghai Jiao Tong University for her outstanding achievements in teaching, research, and medical care.
